A friend of mine had a mortgage with Options One which I believe is a part of HSBC.
The monthly payment was due on the first, and she normally made the payment on the 5th or 6th of the month.
However on the 2nd of the month she would start getting phone calls from people with an Indian accent- demanding payments, and they would call two or three times a day demanding a payment.
She decided to refinance and discovered a pre-payment penalty was in her contract-this delayed closing date by about a week.
She went to closing on the 29th of the month and Options One received the payoff the following month on the 4th.
Options One, knew about this refi early in September, and knew the closing date and knew the loan would be paid off.
They told the Credit Bureau that my friend was 30 days late with the payment and now she is trying to remove it from her credit report.
Options One- congratulations you are the Big Corporate Idiot of the Day.

Drunk, pissing on cars, loud music and it is only 2AM
I was awakened at 2AM the other night by loud talking and music coming from the parking lot in front of my house. I live on a cul de sac.
Looking out the window I see about 6 teenagers, drinking beer(they has a stash in one of the trunks of the three cars involved) playing loud music and talking loud.
I thought maybe they were from the neighborhood, but did not recognize the cars or the drinkers. As I was watching one of them took it upon himself to piss on my neighbors car.
I called the police, they showed up, took pictures, called the parents and had the cars towed.
The amazing thing about this ordeal is that it did not take place in Wheaton, and the teens were not Hispanic-- it was Olney and the teens were White.
So for all you stereotyping idiots out there who were thinking--"Here we go again more Hispanic drinking in public" shame on you....as for you teens who were doing the drinking, and were pissing in public, and having the police drag your parents out of bed at 2AM- my congratulations for being the bigger IDIOTS.

Hybrid and electric cars
There has been a lot of talk about hybrid cars and electric cars.
One car manufacturer even has car that you can plug in and recharge-- wow- great idea except for one thing--
I live in a second story condo-- I don't have an extension cord that long.
Electric cars are not suitable for those who live in apartments
Where are the great thinkers - who thought about this crazy idea.
There is no oil shortage- just ask the Chinese and the Indians(India).
The Chinese are drilling off the coast of the Phillipines(Spratly Islands), they drilling for oil in Africa(Sudan) and they are making friends with South American dictators---meanwhile the United States is bogged down in the MidEast;
Apparently the dictators and murderous thugs in Africa don't mind giving the Chunese oil for money and weapons-- Meanwhile the United States is busy dealing with a bunch of crazy islamic ungrateful people.
The Chinese are very smart- they want nothing to do with the fanatics of the MidEast they leave that problem to us-- and they get their oil from people who are willing to give it to them at a good price.
I wonder who the suckers are in this deal-- ?

Solution to the immigrant problem
With so many people opposed to any more immigrants, and with so many illegal immigrants coming into this country there has got to be a simple solution.
Common sense would tell us- that if the illegal immigrants would behave, and learn English, and become citizens and act and live accoding to the rules of American society(that means no chickens in residential neighborhoods, and no pissing in your backyard) perhaps many citizens will have a different attitude about immigrants.
In other words- come up to our level you dumb asses and stop trying to bring our country down to your home country.
We have our own homegrown corruption and criminals to deal with- leave us alone!
The other solution would be to have sponsors. my father came to this country in 1949(he married my mother who was an American citizen)

Body what body-- self centered assholes
Recently I was standing in line at the Giant Food store in Seizure World,(I was at the Pharmacy Counter) when an elderly woman collapsed and fell backwards cracking her head.
Everyone went into a panic mode, someone called 911 and the Pharmacist instructed that the patient not be moved.
Then another woman who I believe is the Store Manager- instructed the employees to move the fallen women because she was in the way.
What was she thinking- and elderly woman falls, cracks her head and this manager- who I doubt has a medical degree or ER training moves her-- how serious hurt was this fallen woman, could her injuries have been made worse from being moved--
I guess the business is more important than the health of a customer...
Which reminds me of the time I was at the Giant on Rockville Pike and a customer collapsed in the entrance foyer-- I was checking out-- and I was amazed at the number of customers who were walking around her
- I don't believe she was dead but she wasn't moving-- I had to go and tell customer service to call 911...
Which reminds me of another incident-- I was at another grocery store and a gas line was leaking- the store had to be evacuated- the Fire Department showed up and put yellow tape around the entrances- the tape had writing on it stating-- "Do not enter".
Of course, this being Bethesda where commone sense and civilty do not apply did't stop customers from lifting up the tape end entering.
Who knows what they were thinking - when they were walking around in a store with no emoployees only men dressed in Fire Gear Hmmm- what a bunch of Idiots.

A Nation of Idiots
We live in a Nation of Idiots.
Whether is is our immigrant policies, or people talking on cell phones at the wrong moment, or people waiting in line for expensive coffee.
There are those idiots who are standing in the 10 items or fewer line, with 20 items, immigrants who walk down a busy street instead of the sidewalk, and the public getting caught up in the affairs of Brittany Spears or Paris Hilton or any teenage heartthrob or movie star.
You have idiots in the U.S., Canada, Europe ,Asia, Africa, Russia and the rest of the world.
People killing each other for religion, belonging to a different tribe
different political beliefs.
This blog will be devoted to exposing the Idiots of the World.
